A few kilometers from Milan and Verona, in the Alps, Brescia is a city in northwestern Italy made up of mountains and plains, crossed by the river Mella, and dominated by Mount Maddalena. Good news for cyclists, this charming Lombardy city can be visited by bike! Indeed, since 2008, the municipal authorities have developed a bike sharing system: Bicimia.

Composed of 24 stations at its creation, the service now offers 93 physical and virtual stations for 450 mechanical and electric bikes. And Bicimia's popularity continues to grow! Brescia Mobilità, the operator of the service, has announced a 10% increase in subscribers in 2022, bringing the number to 34,000. Thus, more than 700,000 trips were made in 2022 with the Bicimia system which generated a saving of 462 tons of CO2!

Since January 2023, Qucit has been assisting the Brescia Mobilità teams in their rebalancing operations to maintain a good quality of service.
