Focus on Long Beach!

Our blog posts series presents the different cities with which Qucit has partnered to offer mobility system optimization solutions. Discover how our solutions contribute to improving urban mobility in these areas!

Sun, palm trees, beaches, bike rides... It all sounds like a vacation, but it's the daily life of the inhabitants of Long Beach. This small coastal town in California is the ideal place to take advantage of a 251 km network of bike paths and bike-sharing system! With 835 bikes and 118 stations, you'll have the choice of enjoying a ride by the sea or in the city, depending on your mood.

The City of Long Beach delegates the operation of the Long Beach Bike Share system to Pedal Movement. To offer a quality service, each bike is equipped with adjustable saddles, lights, bells and integrated GPS since spring 2023. Long Beach Bike Share has been made accessible to all through a subscription program and large choice of payment preference. The city has also ensured everyone's safety by setting up a network of bike paths linking the entire city.

Since March 2024, Qucit has been assisting the Pedal Movement teams in their field operations to ensure the best possible experience for all Long Beach sportsmen and women (whether they're Sunday-goers or not)!
