Focus on Valladolid, Spain!

Our blog posts series presents the different cities with which Qucit has partnered to offer mobility system optimization solutions. Discover how our solutions contribute to improving urban mobility in these areas!

Renowned for its rich historical architectural heritage, Valladolid also has a lively modern facet.

Thanks to Valladolid City Council's commitment to sustainable mobility, the city is implementing a variety of initiatives to encourage environmentally-friendly modes of transport.

With its brand-new "Biki" bike-sharing system, this tailor-made, eco-responsible solution will offer Valladolid's 300,000 inhabitants a way of getting around the city quickly and easily.

Valladolid's new bike-share service, called Biki , began operating on February 1, and by November 2023 had already attracted more than 8,000 users.

Comprising a fleet of 950 bicycles, including 712 mechanical and 238 electric, all are distributed across a total of 97 stations throughout the city and managed by operator Movus.

Since March 2023, Qucit has been assisting Movus teams with fleet management, optimizing station rebalancing.
