Move 2023, London: mobility re-imagined

On 21 and 22 June, the Qucit team travelled to the UK to attend Move 2023!

Organised annually in London, MOVE is the meeting place for all those involved in urban mobility. It's the perfect opportunity to create projects, forge new partnerships and reimagine the future of transport! MOVE brings together the people and companies who are redefining the transport industry worldwide. It has become the event where the world's most influential structures in the field of urban mobility come together to share their vision of the future.

For this 2023 edition, more than 10,000 participants and 300 exhibitors were present at Move. Professionals, experts and companies came together with one goal in mind: to create a more sustainable transport industry!

For Qucit, the Move show was an opportunity to meet the UK players in the world of urban mobility and discover what's new in the micromobility market.

The show was also an opportunity to present Qucit Bike, our software for optimising the logistics of field operations for self-service bike systems, to exhibitors and visitors.

"Sustainable and safer cities with shared mobility" - Cooltra

At the "Sustainable and safer cities with shared mobility" conference, Timo Buetefisch, CEO of Cooltra, discussed the 5 key points of shared mobility to make our journeys more sustainable.

  1. Reduced traffic congestion: by encouraging the use of micromobility, we reduce the number of cars on the roads, which in turn helps to reduce traffic congestion.

  2. Efficient use of public spaces: micromobility vehicles take up much less parking space than traditional cars.

  3. Greater accessibility: shared mobility offers a more accessible transport option for a greater number of people. Not everyone has access to cars.

  4. A change in behaviour: by encouraging the use of shared mobility, we can influence people's behaviour by encouraging them to adopt more sustainable modes of transport.

  5. Encouraging active mobility: shared mobility, particularly micromobility vehicles, encourages regular physical activity. By opting for these active means of transport, people can improve their health and well-being while reducing their carbon footprint.

See you next year for Move London 2024!
